Job description

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client-facing incident response engagements from detection to recovery
  • Conduct advanced forensic analysis, including malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Lead forensic investigations for small to medium cases like Business Email Compromise and Ransomware
  • Identify and explain attack vectors, threat tactics, and attacker techniques
  • Convey complex forensic findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to less experienced team members
  • Provide after-hours on-call and weekend rotational support as required
  • Research latest forensic tools, techniques, and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proficiency in digital forensic tools such as ELK, Axiom, Encase, or FTK
  • Experience with network analysis and intrusion detection tools
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Proven track record in conducting forensic analysis and managing investigations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former professional experience as a Senior Forensic Consultant or Senior Incident Responder
  • Experience with open-source forensic tools
