Senior Consultant, Financial Operations

Responsibilities

• Implement rigorous problem-solving to help clients solve challenging operational issues and scale businesses
• Lead complex operational engagements and manage junior team members
• Own client communication to provide recommendations and manage expectations
• Implement payroll workflows, AP/AR processes, equity administration, and compliance frameworks
• Research operational tools and best practices to act as a strategic partner
• Build long-term client relationships and drive measurable improvements in business KPIs
• Track and evaluate Financial Operations business initiatives and process improvements
• Mentor and guide junior team members to build their skills

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in back-office operations, startup operations, or operational finance
• Experience leading internal functions at startups or SMBs
• Experience leading complex operational engagements with junior team members
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly analytical with the ability to process large amounts of unstructured information
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical expertise in payroll, benefits administration, AP/AR, equity administration, or compliance
• Experience with Notion
