Senior Contract Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and recommendations regarding acquisition strategies, contracting approaches, and Acquisition Category (ACAT) program actions
• Review acquisition and milestone documentation to ensure compliance with DoD 5000 series directives, policies, and guidance
• Develop, review, and analyze acquisition documentation including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Procurement Requests, and Performance Work Statements (PWS)
• Support acquisition efforts utilizing Federal Supply Schedules, GSA contracts, OTAs, and TIAs
• Conduct contract and acquisition analyses to support program management offices and senior leadership decision-making
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide contracting subject matter expertise
• Assist with milestone review preparation, documentation development, and briefing support
• Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition policies to complex contracting scenarios
• Identify acquisition risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Master's degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
• DAWIA Level III, FAC-C Level III, or equivalent professional contracting certification
• Minimum 15 years of DoD or Federal Government contracting experience
• Minimum 8 years of senior-level contracting or acquisition experience
• Minimum 8 years supporting DoD 5000 acquisition programs
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
