Responsibilities

• Write onboarding copy to turn new downloads into engaged members
• Craft upgrade flows, paywalls, and feature nudges for Premium and Diamond tiers
• Own copy for special sales moments, lifecycle marketing, and paid acquisition creative
• Act as a guardian of the brand tone and voice across all touchpoints

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience writing conversion-focused copy for consumer products or subscriptions
• A portfolio demonstrating onboarding flows, upsell screens, and lifecycle emails
• Data-literate mindset with experience working in A/B testing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with paid acquisition copy for Meta, Google, and Apple Search Ads
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and asynchronous environment
• A genuine interest in or curiosity about chess
