Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic data models to support executive decision-making.
• Build and maintain statistical models, trend analyses, and forecasting tools for fund administration workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable data products.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by collaborating with governance and quality initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI and Snowflake query performance for efficient report delivery.
• Document analytical methodologies, data definitions, and model assumptions to ensure auditability.
• Mentor internal teams and associates through coaching and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or business intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI development, including report deployment and data modeling in production environments.
• Proficiency querying and working with data in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and modern data engineering pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, specifically supporting fund administration or asset management.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling techniques applied to business use cases.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations related to financial data.
