Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of production-grade data systems including resilient data pipelines and platforms
• Drive system design for data architecture, including data models and storage solutions
• Ensure high standards for code quality, reliability, and testing
• Translate business needs into technical solutions that support actionable insights
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and data teams to define requirements
• Mentor and unblock other engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Identify and mitigate risks related to scalability and data integrity
• Improve systems, tools, and processes for testing, observability, and deployment

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields
• Strong experience building and maintaining scalable batch or streaming data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Scala
• Experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Ability to design scalable data systems and understand architecture patterns
• Strong communication skills for documentation and cross-functional collaboration
