Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform on Databricks and AWS using Medallion architecture
• Develop and manage data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines from core business systems
• Implement data quality monitoring including freshness, completeness, and anomaly detection
• Establish Golden Record identity resolution and reverse sync across source systems
• Govern metadata, lineage, and permissions using Databricks Unity Catalog
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics- and AI-ready datasets
• Apply best practices for infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and version control

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and API integrations
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Unity Catalog, workflows) and AWS (Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena)
• Expertise in data modeling and lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Parquet)
• Proficiency in SQL and dbt
• Experience with REST API integration and entity resolution
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Databricks features such as Delta Live Tables and MLflow
• Salesforce API experience (Bulk API 2.0, REST API, SOQL)
