Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and support data pipelines that handle high volume and complexity
• Ensure data accuracy, availability, observability, security, and performance
• Develop and maintain data warehouse tables, views, and models
• Own and lead workstreams to drive results for the data platform
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call activities
• Contribute to the implementation of the data platform strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering
• Experience building large scale streaming and batch data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, Postgres, DBT, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles (CI/CD, IaC, testing, automation)
• Knowledge of data modeling techniques such as 3NF, Dimensional, or Vault
• Analytical problem solver with strong documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Analytics, Marketing, Ad & Social media platforms, or CRM/Salesforce
• Experience with JSON, Government datasets, or geo-spatial data
• Familiarity with Agile product management principles
