Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain the infrastructure that moves and transforms marketplace data
• Own the analytical schema in the data warehouse for internal and customer-facing reporting
• Design and enforce data quality standards, monitoring, and testing
• Make intentional architectural decisions for data infrastructure and AI/ML applications
• Contribute exemplary code in pipeline logic, SQL, and data modeling
• Lead technical projects from design to production and iteration
• Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to support decision making

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of data engineering experience
• Expertise in modern data stack (Estuary, Airflow, dbt, Holistics)
• Strong SQL and data modeling foundations
• Experience owning data quality, testing, and observability
• Ability to integrate AI into development workflows
• Proven ability to take end-to-end accountability for systems
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marketplace or transaction-platform data
• Applied AI/ML pipeline work
• Customer-facing analytics products
• CPG or food and beverage domain knowledge
• Experience integrating LLM tooling into data workflows
