Senior Data Engineer

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search.

Responsibilities

• Own data from source to delivery using BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, and Hex
• Build scalable pipelines and models designed to handle 10x data growth
• Partner with growth, finance, and product teams to translate business questions into reliable data models
• Manage infrastructure as code using Pulumi and integrate AI tooling into workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines and warehouses
• Deep expertise in GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi/Terraform)
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform both engineering and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dataflow, Metaplane, and Hex
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and design for scale in a fast-growing environment
• Proven track record of integrating AI/LLMs into engineering workflows
