Senior Data & ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines for a new data platform
• Build, train, and productionize ML models for sales prediction, lead generation, and product optimization
• Develop and integrate Generative AI and LLM features into products and internal tools
• Create dashboards and visualizations to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
• Partner with product and engineering to ship end-to-end ML features with measurable impact
• Establish data quality, monitoring, performance, and cost controls across cloud environments

Requirements

• Proven experience building data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and robust data models
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with production-grade code practices
• Hands-on work with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data tools
• Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
• Based in Dubai, UAE or able to work effectively in a compatible time zone

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–6+ years in data engineering and machine learning roles
• Experience with modern MLOps, orchestration, and model monitoring tools
• Background in marketplace, logistics, or food tech domains
• Track record of independently driving projects from concept to production
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
