Senior Data Modeler

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve conceptual and logical data models across core banking domains (customer, account, product, transaction).
• Perform hands-on SQL analysis to profile datasets, validate definitions, reconcile discrepancies, and identify gaps.
• Provide modelling-aligned architecture inputs: conformed entities, keys, reference/master data approach, integration patterns.
• Drive standardisation of data definitions and produce practical artefacts (data dictionary, glossary, mappings, documentation).
• Partner with delivery, platform and engineering teams to support metadata, lineage and governance-aligned documentation and ensure modelling decisions are adopted.
• Run working sessions with stakeholders to drive decisions and maintain momentum through delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI/GenAI-assisted modelling and discovery

• Familiarity with lakehouse architectures and enterprise BI/semantic layers
• Consulting background (Big 4 / Accenture / Capgemini or similar) is a plus
