Job description

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with Product and subject matter experts to conceptualize, prototype, and build data solutions
  • Build, unify, augment multi-source healthcare datasets into high-quality, Analytics-ready data models
  • Build and maintain data engineering systems that support downstream processes and products
  • Contribute to building, maintaining, and testing data pipelines
  • Draft internal and external technical documentation
  • Seek and prioritize technical and product feedback from internal customers
  • Iterate quickly with an eye towards value

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience developing data models, pipelines, and end-to-end analytical solutions using Python and SQL
  • Ability to design data systems with scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong grasp of data architecture and engineering practices (ETL/ELT, Airflow, dbt, S3, Redshift)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Revenue cycle, healthcare payments, and/or medical billing experience
  • Thoughtful use of AI coding agents and LLMs in development workflows
  • Knowledge of healthcare entities and their structures
  • Strong experience in a research intensive field
