Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Build and ship ML and GenAI systems, including anomaly detection models and LLM-powered analyst tools
• Communicate technical work, successes, and failures clearly to stakeholders
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and service delivery for deployment and maintenance
• Partner with SMEs to explore prompt engineering, knowledge retrieval, and agentic AI
• Mentor and coach other data scientists and non-DS colleagues
• Stay current on emerging AI techniques and research papers

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional data science experience building and shipping models in production
• Proficiency in traditional ML (classification, regression, anomaly detection, clustering, time series)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector stores
• Experience with agentic systems and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Strong Python and SQL skills with pandas, numpy, and visualization toolkits
• Solid statistical foundations in distributions and hypothesis testing
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
