Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of data science projects from conceptualization to deployment and optimization
• Build advanced analytics to predict acute utilization and quantify the impact of care delivery changes on high-risk populations
• Develop patient-level and population-level models for risk stratification, forecasting, and capacity planning
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to convert analytic findings into care pathway recommendations and monitoring protocols
• Extract insights from clinical data sources including Epic Clarity and HL7
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of data-driven innovation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning methods
• Experience with clinical data cleaning and statistical methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks and emerging AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, GenAI)
• Healthcare experience specifically with Population Health initiatives
• Familiarity with Epic Clarity, Caboodle, claims data, or CMS/Medicare populations
