Responsibilities

• Advance core AI models and drive them to market in collaboration with data science, product, and engineering partners
• Own well-scoped models end-to-end to ship measurable uplift on AI capabilities
• Leverage deep learning, LLMs, and traditional data science techniques to create hybrid models
• Prototype, prove, deploy, and realize the value of work in market quickly
• Solve complex problems involving big data, federated learning, and unstructured data
• Communicate data insights to inspire trust in customers and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar with 3-5 years of professional experience
• OR Master's or Ph.D. in a related field with 1-2 years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Understanding of modern AI architectures including Transformers, Neural Networks, and LLMs
• Advanced proficiency in Python and the data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, LightGBM)
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google, or Databricks)
• Experience with MLOps, including experiment tracking, containerization (Docker), model serving, and CI/CD

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency with actuarial methods
• Familiarity with healthcare and medical data
• Experience with underwriting, claims, or predicting long-tailed/rare events
