Senior Data Scientist

Description Job Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead a dynamic team of data scientists and engineers to develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms. You will drive our data strategy, foster innovation, and deliver solutions that generate significant value for the business and our clients. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of current and emerging trends in machine learning and data science.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, setting clear goals and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Stay updated on new trends and technologies in data science and machine learning, incorporating innovative approaches into projects.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines and architectures to support model development and deployment.
• Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all data processed in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Lead research initiatives to explore and prototype new methodologies and technologies for data analysis and modeling.
• Communicate complex data concepts and the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner to stakeholders at all levels.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Requirements

• BS/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in data science, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated successful track record in OCR, face matching, predictive analytics, and the practical application of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with LLMs, including GPT models and their applications in natural language processing and generation.
• Expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and NLP technologies.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and similar tools and libraries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving projects from conception to completion.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a portfolio showcasing work in AI, particularly in OCR, face/image matching, predictive analytics, and LLMs.
