Medely is a high-growth series-C technology start-up reimagining the future of healthcare work by providing an on-demand marketplace and workforce management tools. We are a fully remote team dedicated to redefining the way healthcare workers and facilities work together to provide for patients.

Responsibilities

• Identify meaningful business and product opportunities and develop insights, models, and systems to drive impact
• Build advanced machine learning, optimization, and analytics solutions to improve marketplace efficiency
• Design and execute experiments and observational studies to generate actionable insights
• Partner cross-functionally to define key metrics, improve logging, and build data visualizations
• Deliver ad hoc analyses to investigate performance trends and operational issues
• Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations that influence strategic direction
• Foster a culture of thoughtful experimentation and rigorous decision-making

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. in a quantitative field with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience
• Strong foundation in experimental design and analysis
• Advanced proficiency in SQL
• Experience with business intelligence tools
• Competency in Python, R, or another scripting language
• Ability to distill complex data into compelling narratives
• Proven success partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying data science to marketplace optimization (pricing, matching, or supply-demand dynamics)
• A builder’s mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
• Natural curiosity for exploring new tools and methods
