Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop, scale, and optimize advanced Deep Learning models for large-scale personalization solutions
• Structure and optimize data pipelines (SOR/SOT) using AWS resources like Glue, EMR, and S3
• Lead experimentation strategies, including planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and uplift modeling
• Transform data and digital behavior into actionable intelligence for strategic business decisions
• Act as a technical reference and mentor for the team, promoting best practices in modeling and data engineering
• Implement or optimize digital tracking and measurement solutions (Snowplow, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Ensure quality, monitoring, and sustainability of models in production using CI/CD and Terraform

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ML libraries)
• Solid experience with Spark for large-scale distributed data processing
• Advanced SQL for large volume data manipulation and analysis
• Practical experience with AWS Data Science services (Glue, EMR, S3)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices
• Consistent knowledge of recommendation systems, generative models, and causal inference frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with MLOps for full lifecycle automation and model governance
• FinOps principles for cloud architecture cost optimization
• Advanced experience with model monitoring and observability tools in production
• Experience with data privacy and security (LGPD/GDPR)
• Ability to present complex technical results to non-specialized stakeholders
• Technical publications or speaking engagements regarding Deep Learning or Data Science
