Responsibilities

• Ensure the performance and reliability of mission-critical trading infrastructure by resolving bottlenecks in compute, network, storage, and application layers
• Support and improve highly available, low-latency systems with a focus on automation and self-service
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to handle real-time operational incidents and root cause analysis
• Use observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana to detect anomalies and monitor performance
• Build and scale infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible
• Implement robust security practices including IAM, threat detection, and secure CI/CD pipelines
• Apply low-level optimization strategies to improve throughput and reduce latency

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE roles focused on high-performance, production-grade systems
• Proficiency in Linux administration and AWS cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Strong scripting capabilities in Python and Bash
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Understanding of performance engineering, cloud networking, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience with Google Cloud or Azure
• Experience in crypto trading environments (CeFi, DeFi)
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and supply chain security
