Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Operate, scale, and evolve production Kubernetes and AWS environments with a focus on reliability and automation
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm Charts to ensure environment consistency
• Implement and maintain fast, secure, and developer-friendly CI/CD pipelines
• Lead incident response, conduct blameless post-mortems, and implement durable fixes for root causes
• Improve system observability and monitoring to reduce noise and on-call burnout
• Partner with security teams to implement pragmatic controls, secrets management, and network boundaries
• Automate operational tasks to improve the overall developer experience and reduce manual toil
• Participate in a weekly 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure platform availability

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in a production environment
• Deep proficiency with AWS or another major cloud provider
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform and Helm
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD systems at scale
• Strong Linux fundamentals and production debugging skills
• Availability for a weekly 24x7 on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating stateful systems like MongoDB or PostgreSQL in production
• Familiarity with security tooling, certificate management, or compliance frameworks
• Background in SaaS operations with high uptime or regulatory requirements
• Proven track record of improving developer experience through automation
