Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core cloud infrastructure on AWS with an emphasis on reliability and security
• Own and evolve the Kubernetes-based platform to improve service deployment, scaling, and monitoring
• Build and maintain fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines to increase developer velocity and reduce deployment risk
• Improve developer experience by replacing manual workflows with self-service tooling and automation
• Partner with application engineers to establish "golden paths" and standard patterns for service architecture
• Strengthen operational excellence through improved monitoring, alerting, and incident response protocols
• Embed security best practices into infrastructure and delivery pipelines through automation

Requirements

• Deep experience operating production systems in the cloud, specifically on AWS
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform
• Extensive experience working with Kubernetes in real-world, large-scale environments
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership of loosely defined problems
• Strong communication skills and a deep empathy for the developer experience
