Senior DevOps Engineer, Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5 engineers including 1:1s, performance reviews, and mentorship
• Lead team syncs, retrospectives, and other team-based ceremonies
• Conduct technical interviews to build the engineering team
• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create and automate deployment pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions
• Build and scale containerized applications with Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Ensure system scalability, availability, and reliability through monitoring and automation
• Manage and optimize infrastructure as code
• Participate in the on-call rotation and code review process

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role
• Proven experience managing people and projects
• Expert knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong experience with Docker and ECS or Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and management
• Hands-on experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL database management
• Experience with PHP
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments
• Experience working with agile methodologies
