Senior DevOps Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure systems primarily on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Enhance infrastructure automation and cloud configuration using tools like Terraform
• Mentor engineers on DevOps principles, security by design, observability, and automation
• Improve developer experience through automation, internal tooling, and self-service workflows
• Lead infrastructure initiatives and improve CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual toil using AI-assisted tooling and automation
• Drive modernization efforts to retire legacy technologies and simplify architecture

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers
• Proactive approach to improving systems and developer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Chef, or Python
• Familiarity with Go, PHP, or C# environments
• Experience working in an agile environment
