Job description

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the multi-year strategy for new lifestyle product solutions, including employer-subsidized, multicultural, and disease-specific offerings
  • Set priorities, investment focus, and roadmaps across the product portfolio
  • Build and coach a high-performing team of product managers and strategists
  • Lead the development of culturally aligned and linguistically tailored health solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including actuarial, network, growth, and design to ensure products are scalable and compliant
  • Oversee portfolio performance outcomes related to growth, retention, affordability, and margin

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of experience in health insurance, product strategy, and insurance product development
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-level teams
  • Deep expertise in ACA individual and small group QHP markets
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end product strategy and lifecycle execution
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree
  • Experience with employer-subsidized or non-traditional health insurance models
  • Experience developing multicultural, population-specific, or disease-specific health insurance products
