Senior Director of Account Management

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and operating model for Account Management across mid-market employer groups
• Create a strategic roadmap to transition from manual processes to scalable, automated systems
• Architect organizational structure, hiring plans, and role definitions
• Build tools, playbooks, and processes to enable efficient account management
• Serve as a senior client-facing leader for key broker partners and HR decision-makers
• Own retention, growth, and satisfaction targets across the mid-market book
• Define and track KPIs reflecting client health and team effectiveness

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Client Strategy within health insurance or benefits
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Deep knowledge of employer group health insurance
• Experience building and scaling account management functions and infrastructure
• Proven track record of driving outcomes through organizational design
• Strong executive presence and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree
