Senior Embedded Linux OS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Home Assistant OS support for Nabu Casa hardware platforms
• Support board bring-up activities including Buildroot configuration and BSPs
• Investigate and resolve platform-level issues such as boot regressions and driver failures

Requirements

• Strong embedded Linux experience with Buildroot or Yocto
• Deep understanding of Linux system services and hardware bring-up
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for low-level work and automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to large open-source projects
• Familiarity with Home Assistant OS or the Home Assistant ecosystem
• Experience with ARM or Raspberry Pi ecosystems
