Senior Engineer, Applied AI

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize foundations for applying AI across operating models, product systems, and internal workflows
• Develop systems for AI-assisted sales follow-up, operational defect analysis, and reusable memory/retrieval patterns
• Create secure model access, compliant data pathways, observability, and cost controls
• Build agentic tools, AI-powered data analysis, and closed-loop feedback systems
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data, operations, and security stakeholders
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements

• Experience building production-grade features in Python (or Node.js with willingness to learn Python)
• Experience designing reliable data models and using relational databases at scale
• Proven track record of contributing to large, complex projects
• Ability to refactor legacy monolithic systems and design new microservices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Focus on quality, observability, privacy, security, and operational risk

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building LLM-powered products, AI agents, or retrieval systems
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic
• Knowledge of secure data access patterns, RBAC, and compliant workflows
• Experience with microservice architecture and RPC architecture
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks like React
• Experience with observability tools like DataDog
