Senior Engineer, Business Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Manage big data and create reporting solutions for stakeholders
• Perform root cause analysis on production bugs and complete documentation
• Act as a technical mentor to other developers and engineers
• Develop data models and serve as a subject matter expert for report data
• Use Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, and Visual Studio for data management
• Develop and maintain strategic reports using Power BI, DAX, and M Languages
• Lead evaluations of current and future data needs and translate them to product owners
• Conduct code reviews and peer reviews of completed work
• Perform systems validation for client data to identify discrepancies

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience with relational databases and advanced T-SQL
• 3-5 years experience developing Power BI reports (M, SQL, DAX proficiency)
• 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience required
• 1+ years experience with ETL and Azure data warehouse concepts
• Experience building and maintaining APIs
• Advanced Vertipaq, Dax Studio, and Tabular editor experience
• Advanced SQL concepts and validation review
• Power Apps integration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
