Senior Engineering Manager, Security & IT

Responsibilities

• Unify and mature the security, IT, and compliance functions into a coherent strategy
• Own the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Scale the compliance program and manage the SOC 2 Type 2 annual audit cycle
• Lead IT operations for a globally distributed remote workforce, including identity and access management
• Act as the security and compliance voice for enterprise customers and leadership
• Manage and develop a team of specialists across application security, IT, and compliance

Requirements

• 7+ years in security, IT, or GRC
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Proven experience owning a SOC 2 audit cycle
• Deep familiarity with application security (OWASP, vulnerability management)
• Experience managing IT operations at scale (Okta, endpoint management)
• Ability to translate technical security risks into business language

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA frameworks
• Familiarity with Snyk, Wiz, Cloudflare, or Okta
• Experience handling enterprise security questionnaires for financial institutions
• Background in a high-growth SaaS environment
