Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers with a focus on people development and career growth
• Support engineers through regular coaching, feedback, and goal setting
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define priorities and drive execution
• Support projects from early planning and architecture through implementation and maintenance
• Stay close to technical work by reviewing technical plans and participating in architecture discussions
• Assist with code reviews and help unblock engineers by providing context and clarifying priorities
• Drive architectural improvements for scalability, reliability, and performance
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance feedback across the engineering organization

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience managing, leading, or mentoring engineers in a fast-moving environment
• Strong technical judgment regarding code, architecture, and system design
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Ability to design systems with scalability, security, and reliability in mind
• Experience working with databases and query optimization
• Comfort working in a fully remote environment
