Senior Field Strategist

Responsibilities

• Recruit and build a Global Cement Network with a shared vision and capacity-building strategy
• Execute field-building strategies in key locations including landscape assessments and power analyses
• Engage key leaders and organizations to build support for cement campaign goals
• Collaborate on advocacy plans to win cement transformation in Sub-Saharan Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Brazil
• Develop strategies for justice-oriented regranting to organizational partners
• Design and implement trainings for stakeholders to build foundational knowledge
• Identify partners to accelerate action and leverage resources

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in coalition development, power building, or movement building
• Experience with power analysis, community mapping, or landscape assessments
• Proven track record in designing and implementing organizing efforts
• Strong understanding of movement theory and intersectionality
• Effective relationship-building skills with diverse constituencies (labor, environmental justice, etc.)
• Experience in the climate or social justice movement
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally on a semi-frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications

• International work experience and familiarity with the Global South advocacy landscape
• Experience in a startup or growing organization environment
• Experience with equitable regranting and resource movement
