Senior Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Timely processing of client and vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Participate in discussions with project managers and FP&A team regarding project budgets and expenditures
• Ensure all capital projects are properly documented and accounted for per company policy
• Perform monthly closing activities
• Collect accounts receivable balances from customers and minimize outstanding receivables
• Prepare financial statements under local GAAP and/or IFRS
• Account for prepayments, accruals and financing activities
• Continuously improve internal reports and analysis focusing on CAPEX and expense trends
• Monitor and analyze expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure adherence to budget constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent qualification
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting transactions and operations, with at least 2 years in a senior role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
• Experience in a multi-national company
• Knowledge of Dynamics365
