Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own technical delivery for institutional partners, designing architecture across the Avalanche stack including node/validator setup and interoperability
• Partner with Enterprise Go-to-Market teams to bridge commercial requirements and production-grade technical solutions
• Work hands-on with AvalancheGo, EVM, Interchain Messaging, and validator infrastructure
• Design solutions for regulated environments, including KMS/HSM remote signing, audit trails, and restricted-peer networking
• Contribute to and maintain developer tooling and SDK surfaces
• Identify opportunities to turn bespoke partner solutions into reusable FDE artifacts
• Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and protocol request databases

Requirements

• Hands-on depth across Avalanche or comparable L1/L2 stacks (client implementation, EVM, cross-chain messaging)
• AI-native execution using modern coding assistants and agentic tooling
• Experience in customer-facing roles within enterprise or institutional settings
• Strong documentation and operational discipline
• Ability to abstract patterns from bespoke solutions into generalized products

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience deploying or operating blockchain infrastructure in production enterprise environments
• Prior exposure to financial institution POC or deployment cycles
• Familiarity with the Avalanche ecosystem and architecture
• Experience in mentorship or end-to-end scope ownership
