Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build UI in ReactJS that is identical to original Figma designs
• Implement Responsive Web Design UI that adapts to various screen sizes
• Integrate with RESTful APIs using custom hooks to manage state
• Write strong unit and end-to-end tests within a robust CI/CD pipeline
• Communicate with backend teams to address API specification discrepancies
• Leverage browser dev tools to investigate performance and optimization opportunities
• Make system architecture decisions and work autonomously
• Deploy changes to production on a weekly cadence
• Own the frontend codebase and ensure code integrity and resilience

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time experience as a Software Engineer
• BS in Computer Science or commensurate experience
• Extensive experience with NextJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Impeccable knowledge of ReactJS mechanics (hooks, reducers, contexts, props)
• Proven track record integrating with RESTful APIs
• Strong familiarity with Figma or similar design tools
• Skilled at deep investigation for solving bugs and UI issues
• Proficiency in writing unit and end-to-end tests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Finance, FinTech, or Identity Verification
