Responsibilities

• Build new features across the stack including backend logic, APIs, and polished UI components
• Design and iterate on AI-powered features such as chatbots, copilots, and code generation
• Work with prompts, evaluations, and context handling to deliver reliable AI features
• Enhance the real-time collaborative notebook experience
• Structure, transform, and route information through the product with a data-first mindset
• Support and learn from the community of data scientists and developers

Requirements

• Strong full-stack product engineering skills with TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM products and designing prompts
• Understanding of LLM fundamentals including tokenization, memory/context limits, and cost/latency trade-offs
• Data-oriented mindset regarding information flow
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code
• Ability to learn fast, ship fast, and take full ownership of projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building real-time collaborative software
• Experience working in early-stage, high-growth environments
