Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-scale, data-driven applications across the full stack
• Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions
• Champion engineering best practices in scalability, reliability, observability, and security
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into well-architected solutions
• Influence system architecture decisions and lead high-impact technical initiatives
• Serve as a steward of good data practices, ensuring privacy and security of critical datasets
• Act as a change agent by introducing new tools and workflows to improve software delivery

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years in senior-level roles
• Proven leadership skills in mentoring and driving technical initiatives
• Experience building and scaling full-stack applications
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Demonstrated experience architecting and maintaining production systems
• Must be a "U.S. person" as defined by federal law

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Production experience with GraphQL
• Familiarity with event-driven and microservice architectures
• Exposure to multi-tenant systems and role-based access control
• Experience in growth-stage SaaS companies
• Daily use of AI-enhanced engineering tools
• Interest in integrating LLMs into production systems
