Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and wireless
• Own and mature observability strategy using Datadog, Dynatrace, and LogicMonitor
• Build proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding to drive faster issue resolution
• Design and manage network and cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Implement version-controlled infrastructure configurations using GitHub (GitOps) and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
• Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Automate routine IT operations tasks through scripting
• Support incident response and root cause analysis for network and infrastructure issues

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or IT operations
• Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP, wireless
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a networking or infrastructure capacity
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, and LogicMonitor
• Expert-level knowledge of SNMPv2 and SNMPv3
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar
• Experience with Terraform and GitHub for CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• Experience with APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity managing hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SolarWinds or open-source NMS platforms like LibreNMS, Zabbix, or Nagios
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
• Experience with cloud networking constructs like VPCs, transit gateways, and load balancers
• Experience with Slack or ITSM tools like Jira or ServiceNow
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or SOC2
