Senior Internal Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and ship internal tools, automations, and platforms to remove bottlenecks across the company
• Drive discovery with internal stakeholders to uncover bottlenecks and ship tailored solutions
• Build and scale AI-driven systems including Creative Automation and Content Generation systems using LLMs, RAG, and agents
• Apply cutting-edge AI and agentic coding to boost development productivity
• Design robust, distributed, and maintainable architectures including queuing and asynchronous processing
• Own work end-to-end from scoping and stakeholder alignment through delivery and iteration
• Mentor others in software design and process automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications end-to-end
• Proficiency with Go and HTMX (plus Python)
• Experience with distributed, asynchronous systems such as queuing and background processing
• Hands-on AI knowledge including LLMs, RAG (pgvector), prompt engineering, and frameworks like LangChain
• Experience shipping AI-driven features in production
• Strong track record of end-to-end ownership and proactive delivery
• Product-engineer mindset with a focus on user experience and measurable impact
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical partners
