Senior ISSO

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive the completion of Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps 0-6 ATO activities and requirements
• Identify and mitigate risks, and escalate project risks to leadership
• Ensure appropriate operational security posture is maintained for information systems throughout the lifecycle
• Complete and maintain detailed security documentation for system installations, networks, hardware, and software
• Translate security concepts into actionable implementable solution recommendations for clients

Requirements

• Experience supporting all RMF steps, security categorizations, and creating FISMA security documents
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls and RMF processes
• Experience creating plans for secure product installation in accordance with agency authorization policies
• Experience analyzing authorization documents to identify gaps and coordinating with stakeholders to address them
• Ability to lead client-facing meetings and present complex ATO topics
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Master's degree in CS or Electronics Engineering with 10+ years of IT experience, or 20+ years of IT experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Continuous Authorization and Monitoring (CAM)
• Experience working with the VA
• Experience supporting ATOs for specialized devices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
