Senior IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Handle help-desk tickets including password resets, access provisioning, and troubleshooting Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom
• Manage the device lifecycle by procuring, provisioning, configuring, and shipping laptops
• Run on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees
• Administer Google Workspace using admin consoles and CLI tools
• Support endpoint compliance and deploy security policies across the fleet
• Manage corporate software seat assignments, renewals, and license optimization
• Support office networking and AV equipment as needed
• Maintain run-books, knowledge base articles, and process documentation

Requirements

• Experience in IT support or a help-desk role
• Proficiency with macOS and terminal usage
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration
• Working understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (endpoint security, encryption)
• Strong written communication skills for remote coordination via Slack and Notion
• High degree of self-direction and curiosity about systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MDM platforms
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with zero-trust networking concepts
• Background in compliance frameworks like SOC2 or ISO 27001
• Knowledge of international IT regulations such as GDPR
