Senior Kotlin Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and maintain backend services using Kotlin for mission-critical banking systems
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS using EKS/Fargate, SQS, and DynamoDB
• Implement messaging and streaming integrations with Kafka and SQS
• Automate unit, integration, and performance tests and build robust CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain Docker containers and manage orchestration via Kubernetes (EKS)
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decision-making
• Apply security-by-default practices including IAM least privilege and encryption
• Explore and validate AI tools to support development processes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Product, QA, SRE, and Security

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development with Kotlin
• Real-world experience in AWS environments (EKS/Fargate, SQS, DynamoDB)
• Practical knowledge of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Experience with messaging and streaming using Kafka and SQS
• Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) orchestration
