Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor bid management staff within the project team or location
  • Assist in the development of proposals and participate in presentations to potential clients
  • Prepare and review bids, technical proposals, and cost estimates
  • Support relevant leads on all proposal activities
  • Maintain and report on all active projects to the bids and proposal unit
  • Identify prospects and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and reporting for new growth areas
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to fulfill prequalification and vendor list requirements
  • Prepare internal and external reports and presentations
  • Participate in go/no-go decision-making and the full bid development process
  • Review tender documents and drawings for proposal preparation
  • Work with discipline leads to produce man-hour estimates and schedules
  • Address issues with other End Markets and Regions, ensuring scope and costs are correct
  • Oversee obtaining and negotiating quotes from sub-consultants
  • Monitor Salesforce entries, ensuring accuracy and currency of information
  • Ensure compliance with AECOM policies, procedures, and record keeping
  • Secure approvals in line with Delegations of Authority
  • Ensure legal qualifications and Risk Committee directives are included in final bid documents
  • Deliver proposals within deadlines
  • Prepare and present materials for the Risk Committee independently for pursuits up to $50m

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related subject
  • Knowledge and experience in bid preparation and proposal writing in Landscape Architecture
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role
