Senior/Lead Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build core digital infrastructure and real-time digital twins for renewable generation and customer demand
• Develop messaging interfaces with third-party providers
• Build high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption
• Develop the backend for a world-class energy application
• Take ownership of projects and drive technical change within the product team

Requirements

• Demonstrable excellence in software engineering
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Proven ability to define and build complex systems
• Hands-on experience shipping highly-available production systems
• Clear and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as AWS CDK
• Experience working within the energy sector
• Experience shipping consumer-facing products
