Senior Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, including service, partnership, vendor agreements, and NDAs.
• Design, implement, and refine contract management processes and automation tools to enhance efficiency.
• Provide strategic guidance and risk-based assessments of contractual terms to support business goals.
• Manage end-to-end legal projects, engaging with stakeholders to align interests and secure approvals.
• Support cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance, etc.) on complex contract-related matters and internal workflows.
• Drive strategic initiatives for the Contracts team, including process optimization and scaling legal operations.

Requirements

• University degree in law (LL.B., preferably LL.M.).
• 6+ years of experience as a Legal Counsel or Senior Counsel, ideally within an international tech environment.
• Extensive experience negotiating commercial agreements governed by English law.
• Proven expertise in contract lifecycle management (CLM) and legal process improvement.
• Solid understanding of data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in IT, fintech, or regtech companies.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC and other compliance-related principles.
• Experience navigating diverse stakeholder groups to drive consensus.
