Senior Level Artist

Description We are looking for an experienced Level Artist to join our art team. As a Level Artist, you will have the opportunity to shape immersive and visually captivating game environments. Your role will involve closely following game design documents, references, and art direction to create levels that align with the game's atmosphere, story, and style. Having a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently, you will take the initiative to bring the creating a visually appealing world. Your creative input and artistic expertise will contribute to the overall visual excellence of games.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with game design documents to know the environments, objects, atmospheres, story, and style to build levels
• Follow references, concepts, and art direction, while also having the initiative to take the work further independently
• Participate in the search of precise graphic references that are specific to assets marked for production
• Create documents that list and present the graphical content of the levels
• Optimize maps, for example, adjusting the size of the pieces according to gameplay situations

Requirements

• Experience with texturing large realistic landscapes in UE4/5
• Strong understanding of UE landscape layers blending
• Proficient in Maya/ Zbrush / Substance Designer / Unreal engine

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth UE4/5 Materials (shaders) production & optimization understanding
