Responsibilities

• Execute the full level creation cycle in Unity, from blockout (whitebox/greybox) to a playable engine version ready for playtesting.
• Design racing tracks focusing on flow, turn typology, lap pacing, high-speed readability, risk/reward balance, and alternative trajectories.
• Perform independent 3D level assembly, including object placement, basic props, and scene work.
• Take responsibility for the gameplay and visual core of the level, including composition, lighting, and atmosphere.
• Delegate and manage tasks (animations, VFX, props) with the art and programming departments while maintaining ownership of the task.
• Analyze passability metrics and playtest data to iterate on levels.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of level design experience in commercial games with released projects in portfolio.
• At least one shipped racing or arcade project where tracks were personally designed.
• Proficient Unity skills for independent level assembly (blockout, triggers, terrain, scene work).
• Proven sense of flow, rhythm, and track readability.
• Ability to lead a level from blockout to release autonomously.
• Experience with tracking systems (Asana/Jira) and passability metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mobile projects and optimization for low-end devices.
• Personal passion for offroad/racing games.
