Responsibilities

  • Translate and localize marketing and life sciences content from English to Oromo-ET
  • Perform copy editing and quality assurance on translated materials
  • Collaborate with project teams on multiple accounts and programs
  • Ensure cultural appropriateness and accuracy for investigator-facing, patient-facing, and pharmacy materials

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience translating or copy editing in life sciences or marketing
  • Native-level Oromo with deep cultural expertise
  • Professional proficiency in English (US/GB)
  • Proficiency with CAT tools: XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Translation degree or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience with help and UI content localization
