Senior Linguist - Marketing & Life Sciences - Tigrinya

Responsibilities

• Translate and edit marketing, life sciences, and patient-facing content from English to Tigrinya
• Localize investigator-facing, pharmacy, and UI/help materials with cultural accuracy
• Collaborate with project teams on multiple accounts and long-term programs
• Ensure quality and consistency across all deliverables using CAT tools

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of translation or copy editing experience in life sciences or marketing
• Native-level Tigrinya expertise with deep cultural understanding
• Professional fluency in English (US or GB)
• Proficiency with CAT tools: XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
• Translation degree or equivalent experience (3 years with other degree, 5 years without degree)
