Senior Linguist - Marketing & Life Sciences - Xhosa

Responsibilities

• Translate and copy edit content for marketing and life sciences verticals including investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, and UI materials
• Collaborate with Welocalize's global network on multiple accounts and programs
• Ensure cultural nuance and accuracy in Xhosa target language deliverables
• Utilize CAT tools to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of translation or copy editing experience in marketing or life sciences
• Native-level Xhosa with deep understanding of cultural nuances
• Professional proficiency in English (US/GB)
• Proficiency with CAT tools including XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Translation degree preferred, or equivalent experience (3 years with other degree, 5 years without degree)
